Project Overview & Start–A Structured Moringa Tree Adoption
On our farm in Cambodia, we plan to plant a total of 1,500 Moringa trees. To ensure a secure project launch and efficient use of available resources, planting will only begin once 5% of the planned sponsorships have been adopted. This corresponds to 75 active sponsorships.
To secure long-term employment for our farming families and maintain the quality of the harvest, we deliberately follow a sustainable and carefully planned approach to sustainable agriculture. The 1,500 trees are therefore intended to be adopted gradually over a period of approximately one year, rather than within a short sales phase.
This approach enables continuous farm operation, a balanced workload for local workers, and protects the project from all sponsorships ending simultaneously after an initial peak in demand.
When a sponsorship ends, the corresponding tree is immediately released for new sponsors. This allows new supporters to adopt a Moringa tree at any time, while ensuring that the project remains permanently active and local jobs are sustainably secured.
Nachhaltige Landwirtschaft ist ein zentraler Baustein für Ernährungssicherheit und stabile ländliche Strukturen, wie von der Food and Agriculture Organization der Vereinten Nationen beschrieben.
This model creates planning reliability for the project, stability for farming families, and a sustainable structure for everyone involved.
